Athanael off To High School

Home > News > Athanael off To High School

Six years ago on August 24, 2015 to be exact a shy little boy by the name of Athanael Jones was pickeď up from a Children’s Home in Kingston and became one of the four children who became the first set of wards to make the Alta Vista family home a functional reality.

Athanael started his educational journey at the Denbigh Primary School where he attended for one year, then went on to the Four Paths Primary & Junior High School. He sat the PEP exam in June 2021 and gained a place at the Lennon High School. However, because of proximity, we requested a transfer to Denbigh High School which was granted.

Despite the COVID 19 pandemic which cause schools to resort to online learning for the past 19 months, Athanael is adapting fairly well to the new environment. With the help of his teachers and caregivers combined with prayers and continued support of all stakeholders I believe he will achieve his goals and make himself and our family proud.
