As we celebrate Brianna, we also celebrate Athaneal Jones who was successful in his exams that qualified him for high school entrance. We have begun to see our efforts bearing good fruits and for that we are grateful, excited and motivated to move to the next level.
It is our hope that we will be able to move to our new facilities in Bog Walk, St Catherine, where we will be able to do more for the sustainability of the project. We have a plan to sensitize our various communities, church, Corporate and the public about our goals and seek further support to achieve our goal of providing skill training, academic support and spiritual guidance for our children.
On Aug 1, 2021 at 07:00 PM we were able to join Donavon & Samantha Campbell in Toronto, Canada for their online Book & Gospel Album Launch. We were able to present on the activities at the Village. The Campbells have committed a percentage of the sale of each book or album as a donation to the Children’s Village. We encourage you to support them by purchasing your copies by visiting www.samanthacampbell.org. We were pleased to participate in the launch.
Since we were unable to have our traditional fund raising drive because of Covid 19, be on the look out for our online event which will come towards yearend, of which we will say much more in our next monthly newsletter.
We are always in need of human resource personnel to join us in the journey. Therefore, if you so feel impressed to become part of the EFCCI family, or if you know of someone else who has a heart for helping the socially disadvantaged, then get in touch with us, and we will help you to make that happen.
